Penland School Featured on Our State TV

The March edition of the North Carolina Public Television program Our State TV will include a feature on the renowned Penland School of Crafts, which is located in Mitchell County. In addition to a brief overview of the school’s history, the program will include colorful footage from Penland’s classes and conversations with students, instructors, resident artists, and the school’s director Jean McLaughlin. The show will air on Wednesday, March 1 at 8:00 PM and will be repeated on Thursday, March 30 at 9:30 PM. The program will also have multiple broadcasts on UNC-NC, which is a premium cable channel. These airdates can be found on the UNC-TV website, www.unctv.org.
